Development work at LRR SL III project to begin this month.

Lahore: Development work at the Lahore Ring Road (LRR)’s Southern Loop (SL) III is expected to begin following the signing of a construction agreement between the Lahore Ring Road Authority (LRRA) and the National Logistics Cell (NLC) – scheduled for finalization on January 12, a news source reported. This information was revealed during a meeting of the authority’s senior management, with LRRA Chairman and Lahore Commissioner Saif Anjum presiding over the session.
LRR Southern Loop III’s bid approved
Commissioner Anjum said that the construction of the eight-kilometer-long SL-III of LRR would improve the traffic situation in the city. The contract for the construction of SL III has already been awarded to the NLC, and the company will begin the construction once the official formalities in this regard are completed on January 12.
The SL-III will connect the LRR interchange on Adda Plot, Raiwind Road, and Multan Road. The 10-lane road will feature a 17-kilometer drain, 7 bridges, 3 subways, and two interchanges. He also announced that the LRRA would ensure the timely completion of SL-III and all other projects.
Probe ordered into alleged corruption in LRR project
He stated that the LRR project held immense importance in the plantation drive to make Pakistan clean and green. He announced that the second phase of the plantation drive along LRR would begin in February.
During the same meeting, the commissioner also received a briefing on LRR SL-IV.
