Centre initiates road infrastructure projects in KP
Islamabad: it is reported on 3rd August that the Federal government has recently started the development process of various roads in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with their major attention is to focus on the less developed areas ok KPK.
An official personality from the NHA department said that the completion of this developing road infrastructure would spread the sense of deprivation between the people of this area. He furthermore said that these uplifting projects would also offer new employment opportunities to the people living in nearby areas. He also informed about projects that were under KP, which are as follow:
- Construction of Burhan-Havelian Expressway (E-35)
- 36-km Peshawar-Dara Adam Khail Section of N-55
- Motorway from Burhan-Hakla on M-1to Dera Ismail (DI) Khan between Punjab
- Dualisation & improvement of Old Bannu Road
- Dualisation and improvement of Pindigheb-Kohat Road
- Construction of Burhan-Havelian Expressway (E-35)
- Dualisation of Indus Highway (N-55) Sarai Gambila-Kohat Section
- Motorway from Burhan-Hakla on M-1to Dera Ismail (DI) Khan between Punjab
- Construction of Malakand Tunnel (Phase-I)
- Dualisation of Indus Highway (N-55) Sarai Gambila-Kohat Section
- Lowari Road Tunnel and Access Roads Project
- Peshawar Northern Bypass
- Khyber Pass Economic Corridor Project
- Peshawar Northern Bypass
“The motorway from Burhan-Hakla on M-1 to DI khan would become operational in the current year,” said the official.
