LDA Received 76 Applications for High Rise Projects in 4 Months. The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has notified that it has received 76 applications seeking approvals for the construction of high rise projects during the last four months

However, the authority has yet to provide its sanction to any of these requests. Back in September, the authority had approved the Zoning and Building Regulations 2019, in order to fulfill Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wish for Lahore to have a large number of high rise buildings.
The maximum number of these applications were received for projects being planned in JoharTown (14), with Gulbgerg2 (7) and Gulberg3 (5) receiving the next highest number of applications.
The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has notified the receipt of 76 applications seeking approvals for the construction of high-rise projects during the last four months, a news source reported. However, as per the publication, the authority has yet to provide its sanction to of any of these requests.

As per the details shared by the development authority, the maximum number of these applications were received for projects being planned in JoharTown (14), with Gulbgerg2 (7) and Gulberg3 (5) receiving the next highest number of applications. Additional bids were submitted for locations across the city, including Gulberg1, Gulberg5, Sabzazar, Al-Kabir Town, AyubiaTown, TimberMarket and MultanRoad.
