Gujrat: Gujranwala commissioner asks local bodies to process housing society cases. Gujranwala Commissioner Zahid Akhtar Zaman has directed the members of the city’s local bodies to expedite the processes pertaining to housing society and building plan approvals, a news source reported.

He instructed the officials concerned to ensure timely disposal of land revenue cases. For this purpose, he directed the related staff to give priority to litigants in government offices by ensuring that respective officers are present.

The commissioner also directed the meeting attendees to identify the roads in need of rehabilitation. He further called for the immediate release of funds for the repair of these roads. Commissioner Zaman also reviewed the progress on the Clean and Green Pakistan Index (CGPI) in the district.
