Govt approves funds for Naurang Bazaar roads rehabilitation.

Lakki Marwat: The provincial government recently approved funds worth over PKR 90 million to improve the road infrastructure in the city’s Naurang Bazaar compound, according to a news source. As per the publication, this project will see to the widening and repair work of the roads, as well as making improvements to the sewerage system and constructing footpaths in the area.

In addition, the government is expected to spend over PKR 180 million for the beautification of Naurang Town. Under this initiative, urban roads and pavements will be constructed, and streetlights will be installed. Naurang is a small town near Bannu in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), where the citizens had long been demanding better facilities and infrastructure.

Numerous roads scheduled for reopening after repairs work completion

Deputy Commissioner Jehangir Azam Wazir announced these developments during an open kutcheri in Naurang. Officials from all the relevant departments of the project were also present at this gathering. Wazir stated that the government would be focusing on improving underdeveloped areas to put them on par with the major cities of Pakistan. He also instructed the officials present to resolve all the issues faced by Naurang Town’s citizens.
