Manchora Dam Compensation demanded surrendered land.

Mansehra: Property owners who gave up their land for the development of the Manchora Dam project have started to raise demands for compensation price, a news source reported. As per the claims, the owners had surrendered their property two years ago.

Previously, the district administration promised to compensate the landowners had failed to release any payments in this regard. Manchora dam is an estimated PKR 2 billion energy project, which was developed to add to the country’s power generation capacity and supply water to the Tanawal and Agror regions.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner and district revenue collector Dost Mohammad visited the dam site and assured the locals that they would be compensated for their properties.
