Indonesia seeks to promote bilateral ties with Pakistan.
Karachi: Consul General (CG) of Indonesia Totok Prianamto recently stated that increased efforts were required in order to increase the export of Pakistani products and to boost imports from Indonesia, according to news sources. As per the publication, the CG made these comments during a meeting with the North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NKATI).

CG Prianamto said that he would personally contribute to the efforts to bridge the gap between the Pakistani and Indonesian business communities, so as to promote bilateral trade relations. He also invited industrialists from North Karachi to propose new ways for improved trade with his country.
In addition, he invited NKATI members to visit Indonesia and form a business delegation (one he would facilitate) — saying that he would arrange B2B meetings between the delegation and Indonesian businessmen. He further assured that the Indonesian government would issue visas in this regard, on a priority basis.
