NGOs seek district-level issuance of registrations NOCs.
Haripur: The representatives of several non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have requested the provincial government to empower the district level social welfare/industrial development departments and NGOs to seek district-level issuance of registrations NOCs, according to news sources.
PM shares details on welfare projects launched so far
They expressed their views on the matter during a meeting of NGOs which are operating in Haripur district; held at the conference room of the Haripur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI).
The speakers highlighted the problems being faced by the local NGOs and said that these organizations had contributed significantly to the national economy; bringing foreign funding to the tune of billions. They maintained that the projects initiated by the NGOs created thousands of employment opportunities.

They further lamented that these social-welfare institutions had made significant contributions to the development of the skill capacity of the masses, especially women, in the fields of health, agriculture, environmental awareness, education, human rights, and governance.
