Under the supervision of Director Bushra Naseer, the officials of the Estate Management Directorate of private housing schemes carried out the raids. Illegal structures demolished under this initiative also included certain roads in the area, as well as office buildings, sewerage systems, greenbelts, and boundary walls of various housing projects situated near the district.

LDA has stated it has intensified its action against illegal housing societies to protect the interest of the general public and investors. In this regard, the authority recently also collaborated with the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) for the prevention of deceptive marketing campaigns by private property developers.
