Funds approved for laying water pipelines in Karachi Press Club Housing Scheme.

Karachi: The Sindh government recently announced its final approval for a development project to lay pipelines for the provision of drinkable/portable water to the Karachi Press Club (KPC) Housing Scheme Hawks Bay, a news source reported. As per the publication, the project has now entered the tendering process.

Replacement of Rawalpindi’s aging water pipelines recommended

The governing body of KPC managed to achieve the successful granting of funds for the project under the guidance of KPC president Imtiaz Khan Faran and secretary Arman Sabir. According to the announcement, Funds worth PKR 1.3 billion were apportioned last year to KPC Housing Scheme hawks Bay for development projects and were included in the Annual Development Fund (ADP).

Out of this total fund, PKR 0.44 billion has been allocated for development projects for this year. Among the schemes planned, the first project to be approved is the portable water pipeline for the KPC Housing Scheme, which is expected to cost PKR 0.1519 billion.

In addition, sewage and infrastructure projects for the KPC Housing Scheme Hawks Bay blocks 2, 3, and 3-A have also been approved.
