LAHORE - The Lahore Development Authority retrieved a piece of land in Shadman which was allotted for establishing a charity hospital in 1988 but had been illegally utilised for commercial purposes since long.

LDA Director Estate Management Muhammad Numan Khan and Director Enforcement Kh Javed Aslam supervised the operation in which the LDA staff demolished the car show-room that had been illegally set up on plot No 453 Block-A.

Building plan for constructing a three-storey hospital building had been got approved from LDA in 1989 and permission to mortgage (PTM) had also been obtained for making arrangements for the resources required for constructing the building.
